Prior to the commencement of any building works, a construction certificate must be lodged either through council or a private certifier and approved before the any form of construction can commence.

In this stage any concerns or conditions that council have placed on the Development Application will be resolved. In the construction Certificate stage the DA stamped plans are reproduced adding additional details for construction which will assist the builder in understanding the requirements for the detailed fit out of the new construction or special features.

This stage would generally involve the preparation of the following (for a standard First Floor Addition, or new Dwelling).
